In order to adapt the cooling performance and volume development of the PC to its own and changing requirements, this control allows direct access via six channels. The manufacturer Lamptron decided on a classic layout with rotary knobs.

These are housed on a massive, black aluminum bezel in the 5.25-inch format and provided for corresponding slots. According to the manufacturer, each of the six channels can be loaded with a maximum of 30 watts. The continuous adjustment via rotary control offers a bandwidth of 0 to 12 volts.

Thanks to six freely placeable temperature sensors, the heat output can always be kept in view to select the optimum speed. The sensors are mounted on the tips of extra long cables. Since the 3-pin fan cables are generously dimensioned, even remote locations in big tower enclosures are achieved.

The controller is connected to the power supply via 4-pole molex and supplied via this. In addition to the high functionality, the FC5 fan control from Lamptron also convinces with a cool look. In addition to the high-quality choice of materials, especially the lighting falls on. Thanks to multi-color LEDs, you can display as many as sixteen colors. Their choice is made by jumpers on the back.

Further jumpers enable the changeover between the temperature units degrees Celsius and Fahrenheit as well as the (de) activation of the alarm function. This reports possibly critical temperatures.

Note: The rotary knobs are a bit off, so installation on front-door housings is usually not possible.
