The aqualis D5 150 ml reservoir from aqua computer is designed for direct mounting on a Laing D5 pump not included in the delivery. For this purpose, the pump is attached only by means of a fastening ring and four screws in the base of the expansion tank. Separately available mounting rubbers can also be screwed into the base of the AGBs to allow mounting on the PC case.

The container itself is made of high-grade borosilicate glass, which, in contrast to the acrylic glass often used for tube expansion tanks, has a very high hardness and scratch resistance, a very low thermal expansion and excellent chemical and thermal resistance. The glass tube of this 150 ml variant has an outside diameter of 50 mm and a wall thickness of 5 mm. The base and lid, however, are made of Delrin, each have two G1 / 4-inch ports and are connected inside the tube by a stainless steel rod.

This version is additionally provided with a nano-coating, which allows water to simply roll off the inside of the glass tube. This creates a cool visual effect that enhances the entire reservoir.
